K5CF in 1978

In 1978 I was living at 107 Trayce St., Poteau, OK. I transfered from the IBI contract in Joliet, IL to the Ampex Houston Sales Office as a Field Service Engineer. I was then called back to IBI to be Supervisor of the Video File System. While there, I decided to retire. We moved to Poteau, OK. Barbara has a daughter and family living there.

My equipment was still the Drake TR-3 and SB-200. The Viking Ranger and Drake 2B. I added an Heathkit Electronic Keyer. My Antenna system was a 40 foot EZ-Way Tower and a 3 element Quad and 80/40 Meter trap antenna.

I obtained my call K5CF in 1977
