W9LS in 1974

In 1974 I was living at 1503 Taylor St., Joliet, IL. I was working at the Illinos Bureau of Identification as a Contract Service Engineer on an Ampex Video File System.

All Ampex Sales Office Managers were layed off. I was out of work for 6 months and, was rehired by Video File Systems and sent as an Engineer at FHA in Washington, DC. on their System. Later transferred to Joliet.

A Viking Ranger and a Drake 2B receiver and an LM frequency meter were added to my station. My antenna was a multiband doublet.
